Nasdaq Slashes Price for Level 2 Quotes
The Nasdaq Stock Market said this week it would reduce its fee for Nasdaq Level 2 quotes by 80 percent to $10 a month for individual investors under a one-year pilot program.

Global Crossing Awarded Contract by UK Government
High-speed telecommunications carrier Global Crossing said Wednesday it signed a $250 million (164 million pound) deal to provide voice, messaging and data services to the British Government.
